AutoSlider ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our PowerPoint add-in software and website (autoslider.ai).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you create an account: your full name, email address, company name (optional), and professional role (optional). When you install and activate AutoSlider, we collect a device identifier and license key for activation purposes. We do NOT collect, access, process, or transmit any content from your PowerPoint presentations. AutoSlider runs 100% locally on your machine.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain your AutoSlider account and license; send you important product updates and security notifications; process subscription payments; provide technical support when you contact us; and improve our software based on aggregated, anonymous usage statistics. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Processing
Your account data is stored securely on servers provided by Supabase (cloud database infrastructure). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Your presentation content never leaves your machine -AutoSlider processes everything locally. No cloud AI, no server-side processing of your files.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate AutoSlider: Supabase for authentication and account management; Vercel for website hosting; Resend for transactional emails (account verification, password reset); and Upstash for rate limiting. Each of these services has its own privacy policy and processes only the minimum data necessary to provide their respective functions.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that monitor your browsing behavior. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.
6. Your Rights Under PDPL
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to: access your personal data that we hold; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your personal data; withdraw consent for data processing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@autoslider.ai. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked to any individual.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including: HTTPS encryption for all data in transit; encrypted storage at rest; rate limiting to prevent abuse; and regular security audits. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information.
9. Children's Privacy
AutoSlider is designed for professional use and is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at support@autoslider.ai.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of AutoSlider after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
